These Noctilucent, or 'night shining' clouds, are a relatively new phenomena. I just happend to catch them on this evening in June. Having read about them, I was a bit shocked to actually be seeing them right in our own backyard. As I watched them go from just faint wisps in the darkening skies, to the point where they really 'turned on', I slowly became aware of the need to go get my camera!
These pics will soon be added to our developing Cloud types gallery. Although not specifically important to paragliding, they are certainly interesting nonetheless.
