The high point of Tillamook head, directly behind the glider is over 1200' tall.

To the right of that, and a bit out to sea, is the Tillamook Rock Lighthouse.

To the left, just beyond the Necanicum river, is the town of Seaside Oregon. Home to many fun tourist activities, and former winter home of the Lewis and Clark Expedition.
